Woodbury High School Spanish Immersion Spain 2020 Trip Fundraisers

Woodbury High School (WHS) Spanish Immersion (SI) has 37 10th and 11th grade students who will be traveling to Malaga, Spain June 13 - July 4. During their stay, they will spend 45 hours in class learning language and culture, living with a host family and sight-seeing. Thank you for your continued support of our high school students!

You can support the Spain 2020 Trip students by participating in the following fundraisers:

Winter Greens and Flowers
It’s time to order your Poinsettias, Spruce Tops and Wreaths. Click here to print out an order form. A special thank you to the Lippai family for these amazing winter greens and flowers. All orders and payment are due by Thursday, October 31st. Please write 1 check for Winter Greens & Flowers total amount (payable to NFSI PTSO and put Spain 2020 Winter Flowers on the memo line).

Butter Braids
Yummy pastries are back! Order yours now for the holidays. Herb and Cheese and Bavarian Creme Butter Braids are $14. All other Butter Braid flavors are $13. Click here to print out an order form. All orders and payment are due by Thursday, October 31st. Please write 1 check for Butter Braids total amount (payable to NFSI PTSO and put Spain 2020 Butter Braids on the memo line).

Tamales
Maria’s delicious tamales are available to order by the dozen (cannot be mixed - i.e. 6 mild pork and 6 spicy pork). We offer mild and spicy chicken and pork. Each dozen is $25. Click here to download a Tamale order form. Tamale orders are due Thursday, October 24th. Please write 1 check for Tamales total amount (payable to NFSI PTSO and put Spain 2020 Tamales on the memo line).

Order forms can be returned to the NFSI PTSO Box, Sra. Brutus at WMS or the Classroom 216 at WHS. Late orders are not guaranteed.
Order pick up will be Thursday, November 21st from 3:30 - 6:30 p.m. at NFSI.

4:30 - 6:30 p.m.
Conference dinners will be available for families to eat at school or take to go. Even if you do not have students at WHS, come and pick-up a yummy dinner!

SI students will be serving:
1 Taco (Beef) for $3.00
1 Taco Meal (Beef taco, rice and beans) for $5.00
2 Taco Meal (2 beef tacos, rice and bends) for $7.00
Rice and Beans for $4.00
Beverages and dessert will be available for $1 each.

Need a babysitter or Spanish Tutor for you child(ren)?
Spain 2020 Babysitting and Tutoring Services
WHS SI Spain 2020 students are available to hire for babysitting and/or tutoring NFSI K-12 children to raise money for their trip to Spain in 2020. Tutoring could include having Spanish conversations for a period of time, reading in Spanish or helping in specific academic areas.

If you are interested in hiring a WHS SI Spain 2020 student, please contact Kendal Lardy at NFSIK12services@gmail.com. You will receive a link just for you to click on, to view a list of students that you can contact directly. You establish the length of time and location for the service and the amount to be paid. You will pay the student directly upon completion of the service. Please do not share the link with others.
